The Founder

A leader built by Detroit — and built for it.

Eugene Lewis is the founder and principal of Eugene Lewis & Associates LLC, a leadership and community engagement firm operating at the intersection of athletics, education, wellness, and civic life. He serves as Executive Director of Detroit Sports Zone, Founder of Detroit NIL Development, and Founder of Silver Fitness — a senior wellness initiative reshaping how older Detroiters access health and community.

A Florida Memorial University alumnus, member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and Prince Hall Freemason, Eugene's work is built on relationships — with civic offices, fraternal organizations, school districts, healthcare systems, fraternal lodges, athletic programs, and the grassroots leaders who hold neighborhoods together.

He sits on the board of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit, serves as Executive Secretary of Brothers of Kelly Park, and partners regularly with the Michigan High School Athletic Directors Association, NFL Alumni Detroit Chapter, and NBA Legends Association to deliver programming that reaches youth, families, and seniors across the city.

My mission is to serve as a bridge between opportunity, education, leadership, and community by empowering individuals to reach their highest potential through mentorship, wellness, athletics, entrepreneurship, and service. I am committed to creating programs, partnerships, and experiences that inspire growth, discipline, confidence, and purpose in people of all ages.

Through leadership, relationship building, and community engagement, I strive to leave a lasting impact by developing future leaders, strengthening families and organizations, promoting health and education, and creating pathways that connect vision with action. My purpose is not only to inspire success, but to build environments where others can grow, lead, and give back to their communities.
